A lot of the history and also the Venice tourism is concentrated around Piazza San Marco. Venice best, biggest and most expensive square. Ordering one beer and enjoying the orchestra? You will pay more than € 10,-. So, be careful...

First tip! Don’t stay around too long arround Piazza San Marco! Explore Venice! Hide in the narrow alleys and walk over its hundreds of bridges. Or even go to the less touristic islands, like Torcello, Burano or Murano!
